Meeting Loki In Meditation (6-8pm EST)
Facilitated by Arielle Lokadottir. An immersive meditative experience with Loki and a discussion on using meditation in Lokean practice.
Chaos Magic: History, Theory, and Practice (9-10pm EST)
Facilitated by Susan Garcia. A class on Chaos magic, its history, its tenets, and the similarities/differences between Chaos Magic and other magical systems.
Sacred Tattooing (10-11pm EST)
Presented by Dagulf Loptson. A discussion on the differences between everyday and sacred tattooing from a professional tattoo artist and highly respected member of the Lokean community.
Saturday, December 17th
Runes of the Viking Age: A Discussion on the Younger Futhark (6-7pm EST)
Facilitated by Thomas M. A class on the Younger Futhark Runes and how their historical meanings can be applied in everyday life.
Finding Fylgja (7-8pm EST)
Facilitated by Tobias Lokasson (as Taika Lokisdottir). An introduction to Fylgja, the animal attached to us. We explored what a fylgja is, what they do, and how to find our own. UPG (unverifiable personal gnosis) was featured heavily in this workshop.
Reading Lokasenna (9-9:30pm EST)
Presented by Tobias Lokasson (as Taika Lokisdottir). A reading of the Poetic Lay known as “Loki’s Flyting” where Loki spends a full evening roasting the other gods by being overly honest about their faults.
Planning 2023: LokiFest & Beyond (9:30-10:30pm EST)
Presented by Kyaza. The wrap-up of LokiFest 2022 featuring a discussion of LokiFest 2023, Loki University and Lokean Publications.
Closing Ritual (10:30-11pm EST)
Facilitated by Tobias Lokasson (as Taika Lokisdottir). Originally scheduled to be facilitated with Arielle Lokadottir but unforeseen circumstances led Tobi to close out LokiFest 2022 on his own. A great closing ritual to move us out of ritual space into non-sacred space.
