Description: A casual meet-and-greet opening to allow presenters and participants a chance to interact before the event officially begins.

Description: A devotional ritual to Loki to create sacred space for those in attendance at the event.

7:15-8 PM: Loki’s Wyrdlings’ Community Updates presented by LW Leadership

Description: Learn about Loki’s Wyrdlings, a global community organization that hosts LokiFest each year, publishes an annual anthology called Loki’s Torch, and offers free courses through Loki University. Meet community leaders and learn about the projects Loki’s Wyrdlings has planned for next year, including the initiatives to make our Reader Ethics Course available to the wider Pagan community and to craft a new annual tradition out of our Beltane Loki Godspousing Ceremony, held for the first time in May 2024.

8-9 PM: Break

9-10 PM: Loðurr: Understanding Loki as Life-Giver presented by El/Leikin

Description: Loðurr: Understanding Loki as Life-Giver introduces the oft-debated heitir "Loðurr", an aspect of Loki that represents them as a father of humanity, protector of children, and the mother of Sleipnir. Drawing from academic research, original translations of primary texts, and personal devotional experience (UPG), this presentation will cover the scholarly debate surrounding the name, reflect on Loki's role as mother, and offer insight into working with this aspect of the deity.

Presenter: El Leikn Willard is an undergraduate student of religion at Smith College, specializing in Scandinavian animist traditions. A student of seiðr in the Jötnasiðr tradition, their work with the Jötnar has fundamentally shaped their academic path. El has worked extensively with Loki and their family throughout their practice.

10-11PM: Bardic Circle facilitated by Erin Lale

Description: A Bardic Circle is a participation event for poets and singer/songwriters. Each person attending gets a chance to present their poem or song to the group. Your host will be Erin Lale.

Presenter: Erin Lale is the author of Asatru: A Beginner's Guide to the Heathen Path, which is a longer, updated version of her out of print book Asatru For Beginners. She has participated in and hosted many Bardic Circles and Filk Circles (what Bardic Circles are called at science fiction.

Tuesday, December 10th

6-6:30 PM: Intro to Pendulums presented by Angel Lajoux

Description: Are you interested in divination but want to start with something simple? Pendulums are the way to go! Pendulums are one of the easiest ways to connect with the divine. Join Angel in her beginner pendulum workshop, in which she will teach you to work and develop your relationship with the pendulum once class is over.

Presenter: Angel is an eclectic witch, Reiki practitioner, tarot, oracle, and pendulum reader, and a crystal and sound healer. She loves all divination and intuition-based things. Angel enjoys learning, teaching, reading, and helping others create, organize, and teach classes. She is a crafter and has her own small business, Angel Dream Creations, through which she offers craft items, classes, readings, and healings. Her goal in life is simple: Help others using the skills she acquires.

6:30-7 PM: Fenrir presented by Tobias Lokasson

Description: Fenrir - The Great Wolf, The Chained One, the Devourer of Odin… A wolf of many names. In this short presentation, we will discuss Fenrir, Loki’s wolf son, and his role in the myths. We will also touch on some modern ways of honoring and working with him.

Presenter: Tobias Lokasson has been with Loki’s Wyrdlings for nearly 5 years, and is the current event coordinator for LokiFest. He is also a professional diviner that specializes in mediumship and intuitive style readings. He has been familiar with Loki and his family for most of his life, but has been taking a more focused approach for the past six years.

7-7:30 PM: Using Animal Energies presented by Liesmith

Description: Ever considered working with animal energy in your practice? Learn about benefits, factors to be aware of, and more in this presentation. There will also be time for a few questions!

Presenter: I am a neurodivergent LGBTQ+ practitioner who regularly uses animal energy in my practice. I first began working with animal energy in 2021, after being the recipient of animal energy used in healing magic to save my life.

7:30-8 PM: Loki Holds the Bowl: Coping with Cancer & Chemotherapy presented by Dr. Avnas Marsh

Description: "Loki Holds the Bowl: Coping with Cancer and Chemotherapy" is a personal account of what it's like to ask Loki for support during chemotherapy treatment.

Presenter: Avnas aka Amy Marsh is a devoted Lokean, a clinical sexologist, sexuality counselor, hypnotist, educator, and author. Ze is a founder of the LokiFest idea and has presented several times since its online inception. Ze has also assisted in the organization and design of some issues of Loki's Torch. Avnas is in remission from stage four cancer.

9-10 PM: Spirit Marriage presented by Dr. Megan Rose

Description: Spirit Marriage—Cultivating a bonded relationship with other-than-human beings

Based upon her years of academic and experiential study, Dr. Rose will share her ground-breaking research into the historical evidence and contemporary practices of Spirit Marriage—sacred union between a human and an Otherworldy being. Drawing from practitioner accounts in Witchcraft, African tribal religion, Vodou, Ceremonial Magick, Tantra and more—as well as her own story of marriage to the Welsh God Gwyn ap Nudd—a cross-cultural picture of how the practice of spirit marriage is alive and well in the 21st century will be painted.

Presenter: Dr. Megan Rose holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and an M.A. in Religion from the Graduate Theological Union. She is an initiated ceremonial magician, a Druid, a Shakta Tantric practitioner, and a senior seer in the House of Brigh Faery Seership Institute. She is co-founder and Executive Director of the Entheosis Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and practice of transformational consciousness through art, education, and eco-spiritual practice.

10-11 PM: Asexuality within Lokean Worship presented by Eleanore Howe & Panel

Description: This is a panel about asexuality within Loki worship, how asexuality can influence Loki worship, and what it's like to be an asexual Lokean. Celibacy, polyamory, godspousing, monogamy, and celibate human marriage will be discussed.

Presenters: Eleanore Howe is a solitary asexual Lokean, and Catherine Carr is a godspoused asexual Lokean and a Pagan theologian. Both share an interest in polytheistic monasticism, and together they have assembled a panel of ace-identifying Lokeans to discuss the wide range of ways to be asexual in Loki worship, and in life in general.

Wednesday, December 11th

6-7 PM: Runewyrd presented by Kyaza

Description: Learn how to work with the runes through an animist, spiritworking lens. We’ll discuss how the rune wights (spirits) of the Elder Futhark call people to working with them, the energies each of the 24 runes represents, and the integrated nature of runecasting. We’ll also discuss the basic principles of crafting bindrunes and the foundations of runic magic.

Presenter: Kyaza "Ky" Greene (all) is the founder and CEO of Loki's Wyrdlings, an online Lokean community organization founded in 2016 and incorporated in 2019. They have been part of the Pagan community for over 20 years and a spiritworker for almost 30. He specializes in protective spiritwork (such as banishings and execrations) but holds a secondary specialization in facilitating communication between diverse spirits and helping people understand how to approach spirits respectfully. She also holds an M.A. in history and is currently a doctoral candidate whose dissertation centers on Cuban revolutionaries who used spirit communication to seek national independence from Spain in the late 19th century. 7-8 PM: Guided Meditation facilitated by Arielle Lokadottir

Description: In this guided meditation, participants will be led by Arielle Lokadóttir on a journey to deepen their connection with Loki and their energy. The meditation will include preparation and grounding to complete the practice. Prior meditation experience is optional; however, those who participate are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the guide that will be shared a week before the session to enrich their experience. The theme of meditation is to be determined, but this will be a joyful “no pressure” practice.

Presenter: Arielle Lokadóttir (she/ her) is a spirit worker, best-selling author, Reiki master, and devotee of Loki Laufeyjarson who resides in the Northeast. She has extensive experience with mediumship, divination, runes, and energy healing.

Thursday, December 12th

6-7 PM: Pre-Abrahamic Gender Theology presented by Catherine Carr

Description: Did you know that the gender binary is relatively new? Going back thousands of years, burials and religious scriptures show the clear existence of trans and nonbinary people in ancient societies. In fact, these people were often thought to be particularly potent spirit workers and spiritual leaders. Come learn about why so many ancient societies believed that gender was found in the spirit, and why trans and nonbinary people were often considered especially holy.

Presenter: Catherine Carr is an author, Pagan theologian, and life coach based in Chicago, Illinois. Her books “World Soul: Healing Ourselves and the Earth Through Pagan Theology” and “Breaking Your Bonds: Finding Freedom Through Adversity” are available wherever books are sold. 7-8 PM: Combating White Supremacy presented by Reverend Ethan Stark

Description: Every religious tradition has its extremists, Heathenry carries with it the baggage that is White Supremacy. How do we combat the violent rhetoric? How do we discern and educate on the differences between inclusive Heathenry and hateful masquerade? This discussion focuses on some of the strategies and tools necessary to combat white supremacy, while also remembering the beauty and comforts of our faith tradition that are to be shared with all who hear the call.

Presenter: I have worked for several years with Heathen Against Hate, have lectured on the topic on several occasions and in multiple forums; including the Parliament of World Religion in 2018.

We'll be discussing how to interact with different types of plant spirits, as root spirits, herbal spirits, flower spirits, and tree spirits require their own unique approaches. We'll also discuss interacting with gemstone and mineral spirits and how to tell the difference between higher and lower vibrational energies.

Description: Welcome to the metaphysical made digital. In all things living there is energy and magic, so how does that apply to the realm of the electrical? Intro to Technomagic is a lesson in beginning visualizations and theoretical stepping stones to conceptualizing the world of possibilities of applying your magical practice to the world of technology. Extend your aura and energy into the realm of electricity and learn some skills both beginner and advanced to benefit your spiritual path.

Presenter: Leeland Riley (they/them/any) is a Technomancer, mage, and more. Leeland has been a practitioner in the magical and metaphysical fields for over 10 years, practicing many forms of craft from rootwork to technomancy. They have researched magical and religious traditions from the Hellenic, Norse, Shinto, and Hoodoo perspectives. Always looking to learn, Lee is keen to share their knowledge and hear the perspectives of others.

Friday, December 13th

6-7 PM: Binding with Saturn presented by Damian Han

Class Description: While many are familiar that in many cultures throughout the world one calls on the plague god to lift illnesses and become the healer, or calls on the god of thieves to protect them during travel. This makes sense to most at an almost intuitive level. And yet it is far less common to consider calling upon the lawmaker to tear down social order. But that is the exact purpose of one of the most recognizable festivals of the Roman world, Saturnalia. During a set time after all the harvest is complete, one of the functions of Saturn the earliest King of the mythic Golden Age, the aged God becomes young, the lawmaker becomes the renegade, as social order is turned on its head and the God of Order becomes Lord of Misrule. Such a deity is a powerful ally for those of us who seek to use our sorcery to make significant changes to structure which seem as permanent and unmoving as they are unjust.

Presenter: Damian Han has been a Pagan and practicing witch for about twenty years. His practice is a mix of Mediterranean magic and religious practice, with a focus on the Latin peninsula and North East Asian spirituality. Damian takes great effort to find strong historical information that may buck up against commonly held beliefs even within Pagan, Wiccan, and Witchcraft practitioners about the Spirits and religious practices of these cultures as well as giving space to personal gnosis.

7-8 PM: Navigating Trickster Spirit Energy with Self Care presented by Mambo Jae

Description: This workshop will focus on how to use trickster spiritual energy in your day-to-day self-care routine. What does it mean when they give us multiple choices? What is the power of free Will? Let’s talk about it!

Presenter: Mambo Jae has been an initiated Mambo of the Voodoo pantheon for over 20 years. She presented previously at LokiFest in 2023 on Tricksters in Voodoo.

9-10 PM: Accommodations and Your Practice presented by Si Titran

Description: Since no two Lokeans are the same, neither are our paths and practices. Here we will discuss some common limitations many face, and ways to thrive anyway.

Presenter: Si (sounds like sigh) she/her. Single mom of the pacific northwest, ex Jehovahs witness,queer neurodivergent Chronic illness warrior and your local Discord Grithgard. A writer, reader and horder of the Written word, far too many creative and crafty ways and just in general a witch.

10-10:30 PM: Closing Ritual

Description: A closing ritual to Loki to round out the festival, held on the 13th in honor of a shared community gnosis of December 13th as being the closest date to a “birthday” for Loki that we have.

10:30-11 PM: Decompression and Social

Description: A winding-down period for presenters and attendees to decompress from the high energy of the event. This portion of the event often ends in a transition to socializing in a voice channel in the Loki’s Wyrdlings’ Discord server.

Description: A guided meditation session which will employ a mix of intention and idea setting before using music and audio whilst the meditation is actually taking place, followed by journaling and sharing. At the beginning, Rachel will talk through how to centre a connection with Loki in this specific practice, and in the sharing session we will be able to share our different experiences and what messages, signs, and symbols appeared to us.

Presenter: Rachel has attended many workshops and created many guided meditations for themself - and has recently begun doing them for friends. They are making their LokiFest debut this year during the European Session.
